Impregnated

The wood material is dried and brought to the end-use dimensions as far as possible and loaded onto the carriages. The loaded material is automatically transferred to the process tank.

 

Thanks to the special design of the process tank, there is absolutely no leakage in the cover system of the process tank during and after the process. Vacuum process is carried out firstly in the system.

 

Air and moisture in the cell spaces of the wood material are removed by vacuum process. The chemical substance is then transferred to the process tank. After the transfer, approximately 13 atmospheric pressure is applied to the system. With the application of pressure, it is ensured that the impregnated material penetrates the whole sapwood. After the chemical impregnation material is removed from the process tank, the second vacuum process is performed. After the system is kept in off-position for a while, the lid of the process tank is opened and the treated wood is obtained.

 

The amount of impregnated material transferred to the process tank by scales placed on the storage tanks and the amount of impregnation material processed to the wood material during each process can be measured accurately.
